From another website. Looks like many of us with camps on these roads will be stranded or unable to visit friends on them. It certainly is going to affect the businesses near these roads.

Not sure if much can be done at this point.

Could this affect the upcoming snirt run?

  Mornin', The Lewis County ATV Assoc has insurance to offer the landowner, similar to what the snowmobilers have, and what we are trying to do is have a landowner sign the agreement to have a trail established on their land, and then use this to connect with other landowners so we CAN open roads and truck trails to connect areas.  I currently am working with Phantom and will be trying to keep the Smith Road Truck Trail, as well as possibly getting Mackey Road open.  If anyone can help please let me know and I will send all information to you.  I am Pres of the Lewis County ATV Assoc., as well as a delegate to NYSORVA, so I have a pretty good idea of what is going on in Lewis County,,,,Thanks,,Dick
