Pre-registration is open for Americade. I'm going this year for the demo rides, all major manufacturers will be there. I'm hoping to get on a Spyder (this time the semi-auto tranny model), a BMW GS-Adventure, a KTM Adventure 990, Triumph Tiger, Kawasaki Concours 1400 and a Suzuki V-Strom 650. I have no idea how successful I'll be, but I figure with that many possibilities I'll at least get on one or two. Here is the Americade site if you're interested. http://www.tourexpo.com/data/content/view/431/174/Anyone else planning on going?

I will be there. I usually ride down for at least one day. I actually enjoy the ride down more than the even itself.

Bill,
You won't have the kids. I go whichever weekend I don't have the girls, and we are on the same schedule with the kids. You will have a great time. We take Rte 9 down through Elizabethtown and get back on 87 before Ticonderoga. It is a great ride.

There is just so much going on this year already. Hopefully I will be able to stop by on Friday the 6th, I will be doing an Iron Butt ride Saturday the 7th so I will need to be in Boston Friday night. I had to miss the event last year becuse of work but my dad and his ridding buddy went and had a good time.

I have an aunt that lives in E-town. That's a tiny little town.

Getting closer to Americade. Who is going, and what dates? I am going down for the day on Friday June 6th. Riding down with some customers of mine. It's a tough job entertaining customers by going motorcycle riding all day, but someone has to do it! Anyhow, if any NYRIDERS are going to be there on friday, speak up and we can try to hook up. Need to show off my bike. I am sure you will all be jealous... HA... NOT!
