90 miles today... pavement and dirt/gravel roads only except for one railbed.
Lynn did good except for having a hard time getting used to shifting with her new boots.

Looks like you guys had fun.  Nice pics.  I spent the entire weekend riding near my house.  My butt is ready to fall off!  Too many miles, over too rough of terrain, in too short a period of time.
Do you plan on coming up for the Trail Development Ride in 2 weeks?  Me and a buddy of mine are gonna try it on trail bikes.  It'd be nice to have some more 2 wheelers around.
What boots did your wife get? I gotta get a pair, and I have no idea what to buy.  Did she get ones with a hinged ankle to make shifting easier?

TRY it on bikes? Should not be a problem. The last two years I've ridden with wheelers and went everywhere they went and a few places they couldn't due to trees being too close together for them to get through.

Yeah we'll be there...

The full blown MX boots (hinged) are way too stiff (and expe$$ive) for trail riding where you nedd to flex your ankle in different directions. Unless you are catching some big air or stand the chance of another rider/bike hitting you from the side you really don't need to spend that kind of money. Shin/knee guards and forearm/elbow guards are a better place to spend the extra money.

She got Thor Quadrant boots I have Alpinestar Tech 4s. The Quadrants are fine so are the Moose M1 for trail riding.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I have no idea what to expect riding up there.  I've spent a ton of time on the hill with my sled, but never been up there when there was no snow.  After looking at some of the mudhole pics, and talk of whether you can ride a sport ATV, I had no idea whether those runs could be made on a bike or not.
Thanks for the Boot advice.  I've looked at the Tech 4s before.  They look like a nice boot.
See you up there.  I'll be on a Kawasaki KDX 200.

Here is some of what you can expect... OMFG

One thing to remember... If it isn't wet It's dusty! Bring a bandanna or dust mask!

And you won't belive the amount of rocks that are under the snow in some areas OMFG

. . . Tech 4s before.  They look like a nice boot.
I have the Tech 8's and A'stars are always my first choice for boots - they're always comfortable right from the first day.  I think I got them from motosport.com but denniskirk.com has a closeout section and you can find some good deals every now and then.

The dust on the hill is bad, I don't even go up there unless it has just rained or snowed.
There are some sections that are all shale rock and some with the big softball sized rocks that spit out from the tires of ATV in front of you. 2ed year of snirt it was so dusty that the 3ed guy in line back was riding blind and choked by the dust. Rapidrobert

There is something missing on the front of her bike its a NYRIDERS sticker does she need a black one now for her new ride.  That's the only way I will know its her like on the Snirt run.   Let me know and I will send her one or bring it up the next time you are here.

If your going to the May 3rd run bring it and surprise her. It would need to be smaller than the ATV one... probably 1/2-3/4 of the size

At this point Memorial Day is out for us as is coming up specifically for riding until Fall.
I have two houses to paint (home & camp) so until home is done we have decided not to plan any trips to camp. When we do make it up it will be for work until I can get caught up.

.....what!!!   Last year when I had major work I kept hearing...." come ride with us do your work when we get back,or some other time"....hmmm   I remember last year about 22 wheelers took off and you came back wishing you had work to do so you could have stayed behind  because of the dust.
