No Training Wheels!

... But I gotta share!

Just go home from the SJER (South Jersey Enduro Riders) annual Fathers Day Dual Sport Ride. Actually an enduro without checkpoints, 80 miles of single track, fire cuts, sand, whoops, whoops with sand, fire cuts with whoops and sand, gravel roads and a little pavement. Did I mention the whoops and sand?

At about 60 miles we enter a section and there is a sign that says: WATCH STUMPS! I just about get the whole sign read and POW! my front wheel is in the sky followed by my back wheel. I get the bike back down just in time to avoid two trees. At the next stop they guy riding behind me shakes my hand and says I was about 10 feet in the air and doesn't know how I didn't crash. OMFG

I'm beat but smiling from ear to ear.

Someone got a new helmet cam!

Actually that guy (Josh) was riding with a group the day before and one of the group lost that camera. Josh said he would keep an eye out for it the next day and sure enough he found it!
I'm getting ready to buy one of those ($139.95) at Circuit City with a wrist mount strap. Some places have the same camera on line with a buch of different mounting options for $179.95 but I think for the $40.00 difference I can make aluminum brakets that would work better... after all that dude lost his using one of those brackets.
