After looking and looking we finally found a good bike! It's a 2002 Yamaha XT225. The seat is nice and low and the power is "managable" which is great for her. The bike seems nice and clean and runs beautifully. We went for a 58 mile ride tonight on town and county roads, with a few quick stretches of dirt road. I got 48 mpg on the DRZ (which I am happy with) and hers got 76mpg!!! That's crazy! She's still getting used to it, but so far she's doing great. Phantom, we'll have to get together and ride sometime...although we just realized we have something going on every weekend through all of August. They'll all be fun weekends, but exhausting none-the-less. Happy trails!

Nice!  I keep looking at this one and thinking.... http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/740625946.html  Right now the only way I could swing it is by selling the bike and another trike, I don't know if I want to do that.

Great Bike!

That is probably the bike Lynn will end up with... I think if she had a smaller lighter bike she would be a bit faster. I think the power of the 350 intimidates her right now. Plus the electric start would be nice since I have to kick it for her.
Definately need to get together for a ride maybe in the Fall...
