I'm thinking that tire was at the end of it's useful life but still...

...ZX1400 rear tires run from $200 to $350 depending on model purchased.

Old tire was chicken stipe some cords were showing after he did his first "practice" burn that I edited out. What he didn't realize was that the "rubber debis" that was on top of his rear fender were actually missing paint from the tire cords whipping around and hitting the paint OMFG

I think he paid $275.00 for the replacement. He probably won't know about the paint on the tail until he picks the bike up tomorrow TAKE IT!

  My daughter works at Harley Performance of Syracuse and she showed us their burn-out pit, don't really know what the surface originally was but it was impressive.  they also have the dyno there and she was telling of some of the results, awesome.....
