Rally racing is coming to Harrisville, NY!!!!!

From the site:

Quote
Welcome spectators and volunteers to New York, home of the fourth and final event of the Atlantic Rally Cup and Atlantic RallyMoto™ Cup!  This is going to be a great event in the beautiful mountains of upstate New York!

New this year we’ll have two days of racing.  With gas being so expensive, we figure if you’re going to go through all the trouble to get up here, why not stay a little longer and get in some extra racing?  So, get ready for night stages right off the bat on Friday night and then, more rallying on Saturday!

We’ve also found thirty inns and other places to stay that are within 30 miles of Harrisville.  Be sure to take a look at the Lodging options so you can stay a little closer to the event this year!

You can come spectate for only $10, or get an even better seat by volunteering.  As a marshal you'll be right on the course, get a free t–shirt, lunch and dinner, and get to come to the awards ceremony with all the drivers.  Now that’s *thumbs up*.

Click on the image above to go to the Black River Stages site. Race, spectate or volunteer!!!

I didn't see it in person as it happened Friday. Heard about it though.

Saw one of the pix Sunday, then finally saw the full sequence just the other day.

It was one of two crashes that I heard about that put riders in the hospital.
