C4 to Williams road section closed WASHOUT!  Now open use Caution !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quote
Guys all I can say is Beware! C4 from starr hill heading towards Williams rd/Rt12 to go to Hinckley. In the area of the railroad crossing, There has been a massive flood through there that last night swallowed one of our groomers and half swallowed a second. It has taken over 5 hours this morning not including trying last night to get them both out along with the drag from the original stuck groomer. Lots of Manpower, brains, tools, and a little help from the boys at Shufelts towing were used up this morning to get these out. At one point is was almost looking like spring time till the piston bully was coming out of there!!! As of right now that area of the trail is closed. Everyone needs to STAY OUT of there(dont be stupid and play water cross racer) the cones are there for a reason! If it stays cold it may freeze up enough to open to sleds, if people go through it breaking it up the groomer may not be through there anymore this year. The groomer is not going back in there as of now. There may be an alternate route there but it is being used at the riders discretion not Penn Mountain. Trails still are icey and hard be cautious especially in that are it is a mess!!!!!

I just rode through the water hole and it is safe for passage for snowmobilers. We'll wait and see if and how much snow we get before we go across it with a groomer. Again, use extra caution in this area. The cones were left to warn you of the caution area.
