Hello, I have a 700cc 2006 Kawasaki Prairie AND a 360cc 2004 Kawasaki Prairie(no reset button). How do I reset the belt to get it out of limp mode? There is a reset button on the dash and I was wondering what its for. I have searched for this reset but have only found it for other models. If anyone has the repair manual or knows how to, please post. Thanks

Thanks!
I saw the link, but my prairie is different from the Brute Force's in the link above. The wiring used is not in the same location(s). So any more info is appreciated. Thanks again.

With key off unhook the two wire connector out of the belt cover and plug the black and gray four wire connectors into the opposite. (located up under plastic by fuel shut-off near shifter) Turn key on(don't start) and let light blink untill it slows wait 7 seconds and then turn key off. Reconnect belt switch 2 wire and plug black 4 wire to black and grey to grey. Turn key on and check for no light then ride on

the best site i have found is NYROC. They have a ton of mods and a ton of how-tos. step by step, does not get any better. alot of info in the "tech tips" and also a great forum that is a huge help.
