I'm very anxious to get out on my bike. Truth be told, I've been out a couple times and it's killing me that I can't ride every day. If you ride, you know what I'm talking about.

I ride a 2006 Suzuki DL1000K6 V-Strom. Suzuki calls is a dual-sport but I prefer to call it a multi-purpose or sport touring motorcycle. It has the motor from the TL1000, long legs and the ability to carry two people and LOTS of stuff for as long as you care to sit in the seat. The 5.6 gallon tank is good for about 200 miles between fill-ups so when I leave the house, I tend to be gone for quite a while.

Here are some pix of my 'Strom.

This is just last May, headed to Maine. What a great trip that was!

I still swing a leg over the trusty Yamaha XJ750.  I got it out of winter storage in a friends barn 3 weeks ago and took the long way home (5 miles there, 45 miles back).  3 years ago I did a cross county trip on it, last year I did an Iron Butt rally through New England, this year we are planning a trip to Nova Scotia.

I'm bumbed that they salted the roads yesterday, now it will be a while longer before I am back out on the bike.

Nice bikes!  I have an '84 Honda Shadow VT700C.  Old faithful!  She just keeps running.  I would post up some pics, but am not at home and all my pics are on my computer there.

2001 GSXR 1000 with 52,000 miles on so far. 4th and best Gixxere i ever owned. I ordered it in 2000 and waited 6 months to get it. It is the most insanely fast thing I ever owned. First time I laid into it I thought dear lord what did I get my self into but treated it with respect and still have it in one peice.

My Gixxer 600 track bike before I tucked the front and had a yard sale all over the race track in Canada last year.
