I finaly got out on the track with the 350x, it was a blast!  The race was at Smith Road Raceway in Medina OH on Memorial Day.  I drove the 6 hours to Cleveland Sunday afternoon and spent the night at my brother's friends place then got up at 5:45am to make it to the track at 7am for signup.  The 15 minute practice sesion went well but I decided to space out the wheels another inch and tighen my loose shifter.... only to break off the shifter bolt.  Luckaly the parts trailer there had a new one that worked!  There were enough riders to make to classes,, and "A" advanced riders class and a "B" novis riders class, acutuall there were enough B riders that we had to be spit into 2 heats (33 trikers there total!).  I rode the B class and finished 5th in the first moto (out of 10) and 7th in the second giving me a 5th overall finish.  Even better, at the end of the day I wasn't hurt and my trike still works!  Then follow it up with a 6-1/2 hour drive and I was home by 11pm.  Now that is a good weekend.  I can't wait till the next race!

This is the start of the first moto, I am # 613

The A calss start

There weren't many jumps (thank you!) but were were some small woops and a lot of up hils and tight turns.

Wow!  Driving 6 hours for a race -  that's dedication!   Praise

Congratulations on getting fifth (not bad at all for a first race).

Very cool.  I love the way those trikes look.
