Do you guys and gals all get together to snowmobile like you do ATVing? last year i spent the whole winter riding alone, only 1 time did i get to go out with my one buddy. i was working night shift last year and sleeping or working when everyone was riding. the only nice part was when i did go out like Tuesday morning the trails were perfect and empty. i am ready to ride just waiting for cold weather, frozen ground, and lots of snow :D the bad part for me is i don't have a snowmobile trailer i leave from my house but that makes it hard to trailer to a drop off point.

I hope to go riding with everyone this winter, had lots of fun on the atv..sleds should be the same..did a lot of solo riding last year Russ's sled was broke most of the time, I groom the trails for my club and plow some but always looking to ride. I think I can ride up there from my house or can trailer up..just let me know..THINK SNOW!!!

I've never ridden snowmobiles with the ATV gang.  I normally ride alone, or with a couple of buddies from NYC area.  They are at my house most weekends in Jan/Fab.  If there's snow, they are up on the weekend.
You are located in a perfect spot if you don't have a trailer.  You can be most anywhere in a short trip.

I'm still busy on 2 wheels, so it's OK if the snow holds off for a while yet.  I'm getting in some decent riding around my house, although I'm mostly riding at night to keep from bothering the Southern Zone hunters.

If you guys want to get together for some riding though, I'm definitely in.

I have a camp in Osceola and ride mostly off peak when the yahoo's are sleeping,(IE EARLY sunday morning) or during the week if I can play hooky, let me know when the snow flies, I usually have an empty trailer spot.

i can ride from my house, and i have a utility trailer, just a pain to use that since it has a metal grate ramp and my sled has no reverse. but if your going by my way we can split the gas money and head out for the day.

Luke,

I drop at Happy Valley a lot, so meeting up with you would be no prob. Spend a lot of time in Redfield area too. Normally trailer to CCC road and head into PJ's camp. You really need to come up some weekend.

That goes for everyone else too! We ride every weekend there's enough snow!

Well, we did last year and I hope to continue this year.

Luke,
You live in a great place to ride from your house, you are very lucky to have that.
We could meet with you and show you the way into my camp and we can also meet you just about anywhere between your house and Redfield.
Once the snow is deep enough lets makes the plans!!

well the mustache fits in my helmet OK it's the arrow i have a little trouble with.. Huh??

PJ and GWH that sounds so awesome, we all can meet here at my house when ever, i have enough room to park about 10 trucks and trailers, the driveway is circular so you don't have to worry about backing up much, and my wife keeps tabs on everything to keep it safe. you guys are tons of fun to ride with so i know it will be such a blast. I have saddle bags allready for my gear so anything is possible. so far i am very impressed of the trails around here much less bumpy then on the hill. riding alone does get old after a while, and a little scary last year i had some ice in the gas line and had to ride home one bowl of gas at a time. i knew what it was but it just was crappy.

heading up to camp does sound fun just don't ever want to over stay my welcome. you guys go up over night or for the weekend? well i have to go do my snow dance now ha ha...

Last winter we stayed the weekend at camp. Went in on friday nights and sometimes stayed until sunday. At the very least we rode friday night and saturday during the day.

I hear you about riding alone, I did a couple last year and when I thought back on it I got really weirded out. LOTS of open area that could have turned ugly in a hurry. Today's sleds are pretty amazing however so I don't think I ever had much to worry about.

Friday night riding was always a blast. Not too many folks out, can go anywhere, sometimes we had fresh snow and lots of places are open late on the hill. Just have to keep Uncle Rob away from the trailside checkpoints.

Look forward to having you along!
