Hate to tell you but the bank is now about two feet tall OMFG with almost a straight wall on the road side. I spent two hours shoveling mid week to get my apron decent.
Stopped and spoke to the logger on Thursday and he said he hopped to be out by Saturday but his equipment is still there and they brought in a chipper now. There is a huge stack of logs that he is going to chip.

Check these out from New Years day. I told him he was creating a hazard for the snowmobiles and he should at least post signs.

You guys have done a great job this year. Praise  What happened to using the fields on top of the seasonal part of Gomer Hill Road?

Because of a land owner issue we received a letter at seasons beginning we lost these fields, new trail goes to end of road now, down the shoulder of road (which we are trying to groom) to Mahars house where you make a right hand turn behind his place and then a left which puts you back on the original trail.  Please go slow through this area as we are right off the end of their trailer,,,,,,,see how fast our trails can be lost for whatever reason and sometimes we can re-route but the day will come when we run out of options.  Another sore subject with me now is the gas line across from the Edge Hotel, we have NEVER had permission to ride it, our old trail ran just to the south of it, last fall with volunteer work, about $2000 and hours spent we created a new trail which is much safer as it does not have the 90 turn near the top, the land owner is very satisfied as it lowers the risk of liability on his part.  Is it totally unreasonable to ask the sledders to stay on the GROOMED trail, us locals know the landowners and their request and I'm sure the out of towner does not even have a clue if he's on private land, county or state, you guys have to help us so we can help you.

Thanks.  I saw the new trail, but to be honest it took a time or 2 across there to see the new trail.  It seemed most sleds were still going the old way.  I helped one day on the new trail across from the Edge and riding it, it seemed much better.  I saw 2 tracks on the gas line, but it seemed much less than previous years.
