ICY corners   Ride safe
Have to believe it's time to take the clubs best interest in  to consideration and park the groomer, save the machines wear and tear and clubs fuel dollars.  Great job for the season to all that volunteered time and efforts. Hats off to ya'all!!!

Throw some dates out there,I don't know what up coming schedule looks like but lets get started.  Also the big  bridge project should be done when water level is low, maybe just running up the center of the creek bed.

Talking with Bernie about the bridge... he suggested "Mafia Blocks" as the supports. Said the cost about $30 each and we would probably need only 4.
Each one is about a yard of 'crete.
This would save a lot of time over the steel cages as we would not need to look for stone to fill the cages with.
Art you have his # can you give him a call and confirm size of the blocks to see if they would work/how many we need and then we can get approval from the club. It would be nice to have them sitting there before crops go in so when the water is low and we can get a crew together all we need is a machine or two.

Exactly but more of a rectangle... I think they are keyed with a tongue or bump on top and a hollow grove on the bottom so the lock together.

Turin Ridge Riders have ceased grooming operations for the season. The groomer was moved from Turin where it has been based for the past few weeks due to low snow in lower areas back to it's home base at the EDGE Hotel in Lyons Falls.

Hats off to the operators for a good season of grooming almost EVERY night when conditions allowed. No breakdowns this year and they also covered for Timberview while there groomer was down.   Beer Me Beer Me Beer Me

and who has these ?  How will we handle them, that would most likely take an excavator, not a backhoe. Thats why I thought the cages would work for us do to limit equipment avail. rocks can come out of creek bed and mix concrete by small mixer.Lots of work but will save a lot of club cash.

Sounded to me like Bernie would be willing to handle them...
