Well from what Wolfny is saying all those that ride out of or around C-ville area, beware of log trucks or on coming vehicles back in on the trails OMFG.
I sure those of us with camps will have a wall of snow and big froozen sno-boulders to dig through to get into our camps, isn't snow sledding fun!

The missing link snowmobile trails behind the Maples has logging going on. The loggers have kept the trail as smooth as possible and it is rather smooth. When approaching this area drive slow and respect the movement of the large equipment.

Just got off the phone with 3 landowners who are ready to shut their trails down, people must realize that we haven't had the snow we need and are panning a base only to make it better but somehow everyone must be made to realize that if you don't stay on the trail you will be going someplace else to ride as we will have nothing here.  I am not the advocate of law enforcement but if a couple have to be arrested and sleds confiscated so be it......

You're right - show NO sympathy! That's what happened down here.  Not so much with s'mobiles but with ATV's.  A couple of morons cut illegal trails and soon everyone was riding on it.  Nip it in the bud!

I was wondering if the trail conditions have improved any in the last week.  I will be heading up to do some riding in a week with family.  I can't wait  Drool and it's hard to get updated conditions here at work.
Thanks, Oscar

Conditions have not improved, we have real cold temps at night but none of the lake effect they keep talking of, sleds are out but why would you subject a article of fun to the abuse of gravel and dirt????

Thanks Capt.
There is still some time before I get up there next week and the forecast looks promising.  We are even going to get snow here in Va. tonight.
I will keep checking in from time to time. I just found out that the old dog races will be in taberg on the 22nd that will be my last day of riding before coming back to Va.

I usually refrain from commenting on a few things.........but something I have noticed about your posts.....you are one Crotchety Old Man.........always got something negative to post.

What part of what was being posted DID NOT pertain to trail conditions...?...I feel the content of the posts were directly in line with the title and just wonder what exactly you are looking for from this topic ?
