Lawsuit filed over ATV trails

A lawsuit has been filed in State Supreme Court concerning a county law that connects ATV trails between Brantingham & the Tug Hill. Rose Pettit filed legal papers this week asking for the court to nullify a county law passed in October that opened approximately 2.32 miles of county roads to ATV traffic. The suit alleges that the county did not identify the specific areas of trails that could not be reached if the roads were not opened. Mrs. Pettit also argues that the intent of the Vehicle & Traffic Law is to open short stretches to get around obstacles while the area between Tug Hill & Brantingham would primarily use county & town roads. County officials declined public comment on the lawsuit.

...it's always something.  I hope this doesn't go anywhere.  The ride to Brantingham is nice. There are a couple of great places to eat there, and get fuel for the ride back.  I am looking forward to riding out there this summer.

At this time the County is working on 2 law suits one being the Brantingham Connection and the second is Lyonsdale. I believe things will workout but as the tittle states "I SMELL A KRUG" as he is out to kill all recrteation in Lewis County.   Joe R/Phantom send me a e mail or call me and we can speak more if you would like as I don't want to go into to much detail.
