im not sure if im posting my intro in the right section, if its wrong pleae move it :) hello everyone my name is adam, i live in greece ny but we own land and a cabin in brantingham, down partridgeville rd, about 7 miles from the pine tree inn. Ive been riding that area on dirtbikes for 17 years, and been going up to brantingham for 28 years so i know it pretty well. currently i have a 07 honda crf250x, and a 1983 ktm 250 mxc (which was my first bike at 12 yrs old) i discovered the lewis county reforestation trails last october and great job is what i have to say! i saw some of the signs were down along the way on the trails so i fixed them all as i saw them. Its an excellent trail system. rode all the way down to moose river rd that day for my first time as well and played on abby rd a bit and many of the other places that way i never explored. i used to hit the sand pits back down van arnham alot too but now thanks to the horse riders they have closed alot of that to atvs. I see alot of ATVers and some dirtbikers up there alot, so if you see me (usually on the honda) flag me down and say hi!:) my brother rides alot with me as well, on his 05 suzuki drz125L

I'm sure we'll cross paths this summer, especially if you attend any of the poker runs. I ride most every weekend. If you see a tall, greasy, Italian guy with a big nose, riding a new KTM, that's me.
Welcome to the NY Rider Boards.

Hey Adam! Welcome! Always nice to see more two wheeled riders on board. I had an '06 250X and it was a good bike, but I like my KTM 250 two stroke much better.

I live in town of Mexico, and ride from Owsego County to the Hill. All the riding around here is low effort stuff, so riding big miles in a day is not too hard to do. You need to come out for our annual Memorial Day Ride. That way you can meet the whole gang.

i want to ride the oswego trails sometime, but being part of alot of clubs can get expensive. im already a member of nytro southerntier so i could ride demon run in bath ny and now i need to join tug hill wheelrs so i can get a discounted trail pass for lewis county. im thinking of riding on the side of 104 sometime this summer, which i would probobly start in soudus area, i know it kind of goes up by oswego. im registered and insured so i dont think that the cops can do much about it. i hope anyway.

so i broke down and just ordered my permit today. even though these are areas and trails in brantingham ive ridden since i was 11 years old. i Joined tug hill wheelers as well. so is this some kind of sticker or something? or a peice of paper? i dont want to put some big sticker on the front of my bike. And will the newest map be included? All i have is the old one that we bought like 2 years ago or something, its pretty vauge.

Mirageags,
You will receive a very nice sticker taht will look great on your bike and when you receive your permit a map will not be with it. The County is doing their own map this riding season and when they are printed you will receive one in the mail.
Welcome to the Tug Hill Wheelers

For the wheelers we had been asking for riders to place them on the front fender. I guess for bikes the issue will be to find a spot to place them thaty will be visible.
