Posted this over on Trail Conditions.com

We will be at camp over the Memorial Day Weekend. Due to other obligations down here at home (Club Hare Scrambles) we cannot make the May1st Lewis County ride.

We are able to host a ride Sunday May 30th from our camp in C'ville.

We will provide a grill and bonfire for after the ride festivities... BYOB and food to grill and maybe a dish to pass. Lunch will be away so either pack a lunch or bring $$ to buy lunch at one of the stops.

This is for street legal DS bikes only! We will be traveling trails and dirt roads that are not open to ATVs or bikes tagged as ATVs.

Kickstands up @ 10AM! Ride will be dirt roads and as little pavement as possible... nothing too technical so everyone should be able to enjoy themselves regardless of skill level or size of bike.

Note: If someone wants to lead a group of ATVs around and use camp as a start/finish point you are welcome but ATV riders will be on their own.

Sounds like ATV discrimination to me!!! lol...lol...  LOL OMFG Beer Me

We havent planned a Memorial Day weekend ride yet... this may be a option... I could lead a group of ATV's for sure, I know the trails very well over that way....
Although.... isn't Smith Road closed to ATV's? and the State Truck Trail around the corner from your place?
If we do this with ATV's everyone will need to have a permit for their ATV's.

Smith Road is open to ATVs just the truck trail section is NOT to go across the hill ATVs need to go down Smith to Crowfoot Hill road (Past Parking Lot) make a right and then another right up Plummer then across Plummer to Moore to Tabolts Corners or North Road to get to Highmarket. I have yet to see an official map but have seen the signs for the open areas. I think you can also get to Tabolts corners by going up Smith to the "T" at the top, make a right and then travel the roads to Gomer Hill where you can get to Timberview/Tabolts Corners.
