Congrats to the people that think driving a Greyhound bus on ATV trails is fun!!

 :D :D

All kidding aside....glad to have more people off-roading the vehicle of their choice.  Dirt riding folks will continue to face oppostition from tree-huggers that never step foot in the woods.  The bigger our numbers are, the better.

I might be wrong but doesn`t the bill have to go to the Assembly now for approval?

It appears that you are correct, this page states very clearly "First, a bill must pass both houses of Congress by a majority vote. After it has passed out of Congress, it is sent along to the President. If the President signs the bill, it becomes law."

Bill to Law process

For now, this is an article that refers to this bill passing the Senate 52-9.

You are correct sir...

That is where the last ATV bill got bogged down and died... keep those cards and letters coming folks.

Let your legislators know a vote against this bill is a vote against them next election!

Here's a link to select or find your assemblymen by zip code and send an email. Select ’CONTACT”

http://assembly.state.ny.us/mem/

NYS gov seems to get it that this will increase DMV revenue but they're missing the point about increasing recreation dollars spent in NY. Us greyhound bus drivers tend to have money for hotels, campgrounds, toy haulers, trail/park fees, food, gas, which I'm currently spending in Pa. and WV.
