You had to see the number of "Vote Yes" and "Vote No" signs in people's yards to believe it. Some people were very passionate about the issue. The very next day, ALL of the signs were gone! Amazing. Now for a formal study and potentially another vote.

I look at this as a positive move and I just hope the elected officials in both towns work together.

I had spoken to a individual in our two villages about consolidation and the response I received well the bridge could fall down and we wouldn't have any fire support "narrow minded"
