This Sunday, the 6th, will be the day of drawing the names we have who have donated to the Turin Ridge Riders.  Five prizes of $100, one prize of $500 and a thousand dollars grand prize. Just think of with the cost of fuel and groceries what a boost this would be, and the cause is a good reason..Help us with grooming expenses and toward a new "used" groomer, the active members of the club have worked hard and now it is your turn.......

Our raffle drawing was held today and the first prize winner was a gentleman named Paul from the area; 2nd place winner was a gentleman from NJ (and they do have them contrary to a lot of stories) named Ronnie; 3rd place was a local girl named Karen; 4th was taken by another local girl Dorothy who donated it right back to the club; 5th was a gentleman semi-local named Art; 6th was won by Brian and 7th place was won by another gentleman from Long Island named Walter.  We thank all the supporting business' which made this possible, the volunteers who pushed the tickets and last but not least all the people who bought a ticket.  We had a $2000 pay-out and hopefully will have the same raffle next year with maybe even a bigger purse...TRR Pres.

No,that's where that money belongs ! This years taxes were paid the week they showed up.
We'll deal with the new tax assessment when those show up,or should I say way before they show up.

I just got my notice about the reassessment yesterday. It said there would be an informational meeting at the C-ville fire house on 3/7/11. I got the mailing at 4:00; I would have needed to drive at approximatley 148 mph to get there in time for the meeting and my rev limit is set to 119 mph so I couldn't make it.  Rant Here

According to the paperwork it theoretically shows my taxes going down; however he has so many backdoors (what if's) in the statement I don't see how that will happen.
