PA rides are back! Well, maybe. If you had the chance to ride with us on one of our (too few) PA rides you remember how much fun we had. If you didn't, you missed out! It was a blast. We stopped our yearly treks only because the people in the places we were riding didn't seem to be all that ATV friendly. Well, it looks like that's all changed. At least in some small part.

Friends, if you haven't seen it, check this site out: Ride Lost Trails ATV Park

It looks like this place may have the fun trails that we were used to in a place that is designed just for us. I'm interested in making an exploratory trip down. Maybe just a day ride the first time but I wanted to open this to anyone that might be interested in tagging along. I'm open to dates as I haven't even looked at my calendar yet. I can always make time to ride!

Some driving details:

From Mexico, NY (where I live) it is about 3 hours one way. If I left early (6am) I could be riding by 10am. So, I'll say that if you want to go as a group, lets plan for being a$$ on the seat by 10am.

Let me know what you think. This could be a pretty cool adventure.

I have 2 thoughts.

1) Let's go!!

2) At $35.00/day it sure makes me wonder about the people that blatt about having to pay club dues and trail fees.  Our club prices in this area are a STEAL!  For about that same money you can ride the whole season, not just a single day!!

You guys with the two wheelers would be better off entering enduros... for the same price you get support and sweep riders as well as (usually) good food after the ride. No need to timekeep, etc. unless you want to really start competing. Just ride with other riders on you minute and stay with them.
Lots of riders come to our enduros and are just out for a fun trail ride.
The support also include a gas truck/trailer that gets your fuel out to where you will need it during the ride.

Phantom, you guys in NJ still don't allow 2 strokes on your enduros, right?

Joe

Two strokes are allowed in enduros... just the Dual Sport rides that generally use more road sections are a bit of a stretch with a two stroke mainly because they are not totally street legal and the fuel availables are usually 60-65 miles out so a two stroke won't usually make it.

You do need a way to get a plate for the bike... most guys send off to Vermont as they will send you a plate and registration no matter if you are a resident or not.

Here is one you won't need a plate for... You do need to be an AMA member.
