HELP !!!

  We need a nice polite non-bitching letter sent to Mr.E J Holm,Pres. Iroquois Gas Transmission System, 1 corporate Drive, Suite 600, Shelton,Ct. 06484 soon as possibleabout expressing concern regarding the closure of your right-of-way between Burdick's Crossing and Belmont St. in the village of Lyons Falls as a multi-use trail.  This property is an example of what makes the area a great place to live ( mention here how you do not live here year round but have bought land and built camps or bought a plae ready to move into so that you might recreate.  You do not mind the extra taxes on property, school or local, taxes on fuel, bed taxes,etc.  Especially now while New York State is in such financial trouble you hopefully will continue to come up every chance you can and continue to help the economy of a floundering county.; you get the picture).  The county is trying to promote tourism, will assume the responsibility for liability issues and if you check our record for the past couple decades you will find nothing but respect for the "trail" and the land it is on.  Yours truly, the millions and millions of people who have used this old railroad bed for various enjoyments.

i tried sending them polite letters and whatnot last year. they care to hear none of it. its stupid what they are doing and all that will come of it is illegal riding. i dont want to tresspass, or promote illegal riding, but you should ride a bike, i just barred my way around each gate the first time. you can also go around the first one through the drive though. they are never going to be able to keep out a dirtbike that can fit through something 12" wide. i only did it once and then figured it was a bad idea so i did not do it again.
the next time i went to lyons falls i just went right down lyons falls road, right into town. a sherriff rolled right on by me right in the middle of town and didnt even care. although usually when they see the lights and the plate they never seem to care anyhow.
