Im looking for some Douglas Beadlock rims and Maxxis Big Horn Tires for my King quad. I want to go with the wider tires for better handeling. I think it was Great white Hunter that told me he had a hook up for good deals on rims and tires. Wheel Away said the Maxxis Big Horns are $125 for each tire and about $80 per rim for the Douglas Rattlesnake. I am looking for Beadlock Rims if possible though. Can anyone get a good deal on these tires and rims for less than what Wheel Away charges? If so please let me know. Thanks.

MEATBOX!!! DUDE!!! How the heck are ya?

Yeah man, here's the deal. I called this guy I found on eBay, his name is Dale, GREAT guy to deal with. The deal I got on my tires was absolutely phenomenal!!!! I paid $565 for a set that I couldn't get cheaper than $800 ANYWHERE near Syracuse. I got prices from 800 to over $1000 and NOONE could get me the black wheels I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted from Dale.

Here's his store in eBay - ATV Tires Plus

Oh, that price was DELIVERED, with my choice of chrome or black lug-nuts, center caps and valve stem covers.

Thanks, I will check him out. That is a wicked deal you got. I hope he has what im looking for. Is it the Big Horns on TKMOTO's Grizz? I like them alot. Just want to make sure.
My quad is down, I must of broke the rear sway bar when we rode at Mikes last. I just noticed it on Sunday when I took it out for the 1st time since the ride. Hoping to get it fixed soon so I can ride with you guys a few more times before the snow flies. I will keep you posted. Beer Me

Those were Maxxis Bighorns, yes. They're radials and several utility class GNCC racers swear by them. I'd put them on a machine if I actually had one that would do over 40.  :D

thats where I got my tires and rims as well. Great guy and they were shipped quick. my deal was for 800 for the set I could not find less than 1150 anywhere else. There is one other place that will deal with you like that as well though if he don't have what you are looking for. And that is (I think) Dicks atv, it's a place out of main, and they are one of 1st quads sponsors. If you do go that route tell them 1st quad sent you I forget their number but I know 1stquad posted it once upon a time. Do a search for his posts. or just send him a pm.

I hit ATV Tires Plus up and their prices cant be beat. Wheel away said they could do Douglas Rattlesnake Rims and Maxxis BigHorn tires for about $550 total but I called them and the guy said he didnt know and to call back on Monday to talk to the main guy that I talked to about them before. Im just curious about getting the Proper Rim and Tire Size. I dont know much about these things and want to make sure what I get will work.
The Front tires are 25-8-12 and the rears are 25-10-12 on my King Quad and they are Junk. Leaking, plugs, and dents. I want a wider stance and this is what he wrote about the MotoSport Climax rims I was looking at.
THE NORMAL RIMS WOULD BE A 5+2 OFFSET, BUT I CAN DO THE 2+5 OFFSET TO GIVE YOU ABOUT 3 INCHES WIDER. Is this correct? 25 INCH BIGHORNS ON THESE RIMS FOR 645.00 DELIVERED. Thats a good price but im not sure if the look of the rims is too much and how strong they are. Im thinking Douglas Rattlesnakes as Douglas Rims are proven and they look good also. Plus they are cheaper. I saw on a site that for independent rear suspension rides you have to use front rims on the front and rear. Why is that. I need to get these soon as I have a flat and I want to go to camp for christmas to New years and ride. Theres no snow up there so I dont have to worry about snowmobilers beating me up. Any info would be appreciated Thx.
