Yeah, I like my new Grizz a lot. It's an awesome woods machine no doubt. I had a 2003 Grizz 660 a while ago. Top speed was about the same. The 700 I have now seems to get there faster though. Especially after I woke it up a little with the pod mod. Gotta get her breathing a little better though. Soon. I am going to put a GYTR exhaust on it as I want an exhaust...but a quieter one. That and a filter setup.

The power steering is awesome. Bar none! You don't miss it unless you've had one. Once ya have one...everything else is a joke.

Still dialing in the EFI. Gotta love not having a choke. She stalls once in a while while sitting there, but like I said, I'm still working on fine tuning her. Never had it happen while riding yet.

I can get the front end up np until I throw on larger tires. Then I have to work harder. The front end DOES come up noticeably easier than it did on my 2003 660 Grizz.

This quad may not be a drag race monster like a Brute or Outty 800, but I feel sorry for the guys that try and hang with me for a day. This machine is the total package. She goes plenty fast enough to outride my suspension and I am usually waiting at the other end of the trail for the rest to catch up. If they wanna hang, they'll be taking a beating just keeping my medium pace most of the time. It's a combination of it's light weight, super steering, great suspension, and a power plant that's just right...gets ya there without breaking a sweat.

I almost got a Brute 750...I'll sure miss that for drags...but for everything else...the Grizz 700 was the superior choice.

Thanks for the input, it sure sounds like a nice update to the Grizz, I am surely going to try one out.
Is there that much out yet in the means of aftermarket? clutch kit's, filters, exhaust etc..etc... ?
I like your site, I will be reading up on it more.

Is the front rack required for structural strength.  On the Prairies, the front rack serves as a brace for the strut towers.  When you take it off, you must install some sort of brace to replace it, or the struts are likely to come right through the top of the front plastic..

Looks sweet!!
On the 06 and older Grizz's you don't need that rack for shock support, not sure about the new 07's.

PJ:
Did you ever get a new grizzly? I got one last Oct. Its a nice machine. took it on the hill today for my first ride in the snow. With the EPS it does feel loose in the rear when you get it spining in the snow.
Feal like the rear end wants to come around and pass the front. It takes some getting use to but by the end of the day it was ok. not sure if you have ben watching the weather up here but we got 6" of new snow on the hill last nite and today.
