Ripping up the lawn? you have grass left? I did that already.... if the sliders stay wet you are good to go.
Its call lawn aerating, its actually good for the lawn (depends on how long those studs are...lol...lol...)
Nearest snow... hmmm in the states??? Colorado is looking good right now......
I have the truck and trailer.... you have the time off?
Song Mountain? a couple of the kids were there yesterday, its not so great there either....

Please get the info where they go and stay and unload etc..etc....
Problem for me though.... the week after next I start traveling for work again, and will only have weekends to ride until mid February.

I normally ride up at Tug Hill and over in Vt, my friend who has a cabin in the mountains said he did 160 miles this past weekend, the warm rain and the weather killed what was ridable. I thought about going up but that is a long ride to ride on one mountain, he said he figured here were about 15 miles of tails open, some ok some rough.

I took the R1 out for a ride on Monday instead and enjoyed the spring weather...Bob

just out side of Benningtion Vt in a town called Somerset the elevation is but 1600 feet or so higher than the surrounding area and that is the only reason they had snow

I want to go out west where the snow is deep

Ahhhh....
If it doesn't snow here and we don't have any open trails in another month or so, I am going to drive north or west until I can find somewhere to get some miles on the sled.

This weather will really take a toll on the snowmobile dealers, my dealer had 80 sleds left over from last year and he has allmost sold all of them. He trimmed down this years order but he still has lots of 07's still left.
I didnot think it could get worse than last year!! but guess what it is...
If we do not get snow by next weekend I am going to get the wheeler back out and call the gang and go riding.
Are they riding wheelers on the hill and are the roads and trails open to ATV traffic this time of year????Rapidrobert

Not just sled dealers are hurting, anyone that depends on snow and cold for winter income is hurting real bad.
It affects my industry also (mowers).

As far as trails on Tug Hill go.... some are public roads, you can ride them, some are private, you cant ride most of them.
Unless you really know the trails up there (ATV and Sled) I would be real careful and stick to seasonal public roads.
We don't want to piss off landowners, hunting clubs and snowmobile clubs, it just makes it worse for our cause.
