Got response to my e-mails & letters. One was an actual letter stating that he is in favor of trail fund and will support it, the other was standard form letter e-mail that did not mention the reason for responding to my letter. We'll see what happens. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah and if NY does it to us again In need of lovin.
My registration is sitting in the pile. Definitely look into PA next time I'm over the river in Matamoras.

John,
You might have to go to Milford to register. I will ask a couple of my friends and find out.

As far as getting responses I haven't gotten squat.

Milford isn't that much further. I have to get the Durango's oil changed(free as long as you own it) at Milford Suzuki/Chrysler, so when I'm over ther I will check with the guys in the bike/atv sales as to easiest way to do i. Especially since mine is older and I don't have title for it and I don't remember getting one from NY when I first registered it.

Yeah, I was surprised at the letter response from Sen. Bonacic. He said he supported the trail fund since off-road recreation was a big money maker for NY businesses.

Meanwhile here's e-mail response I got from Rep. Aileen Gunther:

Dear John,

Thank you for your email.  I like to hear the views of constituents on
important issues such as this one.

We are working on the budget right now and I'm unsure where we'll end up
on funding many issues.  I 'm glad you've taken an interest in this
issue.  Please feel free to contact regarding future issues or concerns.

Regards,

I don't think NY actually gives you a title for quads. They call it something else which for the moment escapes me. I want to find out more about registering in another State too but I am going to check out Mass. as well. If NY will not give us something back I will go somewhere that will. Why should any of us have to pay for something that isn't beneficial with our hard earned money.

Thanks for sharing the letters you got back.
