Oswego (WSYR-TV) A 24-year-old Oswego man was taken to University Hospital early Saturday morning after he was thrown from his ATV. Police say they tried to get Randy Platt to stop, but he wouldn't.
Investigators say two Oswego Police officers saw Platt riding recklessly around the city around 3:45 Saturday morning. Officers say Platt ignored them and when he tried to cross Maple Street, just north of East Avenue, his ATV hit a guide-wire and Platt was thrown off.

Platt was conscious when he was taken to University Hospital, but police do not know his condition.

Investigators are looking into the exact cause of the accident and if Platt was drinking. Stay with 9wsyr.com for the very latest.

Treat things the way a dog would. If you can't eat it or screw it, piss on it and walk away.
