Only thing is the last time i tried to change Atv tires from the rims was ummmm 15 years ago or so... TAKE IT! -and i rember some blood involved.

Also going to repack the Yoshi and see if we can hush it up a bit.

Anyone ever do a clutch job on a KFX 400 ???That will be the next investment.

Those are some sweet tires, try not to burn them up so fast....
Save yourself the frustration and get them put on somewhere, its worth every penny...
Or at least have someone break the beads for you, thats the hardest part.
My buddy works at Jim's service center and would break the beads for you for little $'s I am sure, doing it with a machine is about the only way to go.....
I haven't clutched a KFX, cant be to hard though....

Back when I was running sport quads I always ran Holeshots. Always has been the best tire out there. I wish they had the rounded edge when I had my Quadracer.

We used to change out tires ourselves. One of the guys in our group had a tire iron designed just for wheeler tires and it worked great. The only thing we ever had a problem with was getting the bead to seal so we resorted to an old trick. Spray a little ether around the rim and toss a burning rag at it. The tire and rim would explode and go about 10 foot in the air and when it landed the tire was sealed, full of air, and ready to mount!

I like the way you mount tires, never tryed that but have used dish soap, the way I break beads is to drive over them with my truck.

Been there, done that....
I worked in a tire / mower shop for a few years in my younger days... you should see what happens with a full can of either in a Super Single dump truck front tire....., we had to buy a new rim....

That's how we broke the beads too. Lay a board on the tire and drive up it. Worked most every time!

I did a few with that method for my buddy that has the bike shop.
He tried everything to air up the tires and he has all the proper equipment (bead expander, blast tank, etc.) He threw all he had at these two wheels and tires with no luck. I stopped at the shop and he says "You're old school... show us how it's done" You should have seen him and his techs hiding behind a pile of junk tires like little school girls when I seated those rims! OMFG LOL
