Turns out they are 2002 to 2004 Fox Forma Pro Boots
This is what they would look like if they were new, the exact colors etc..etc..
If I cleaned and shined them up they would look just like this.

Nice looking boot PJ, I was concerned about the lower buckle not being reversed (on top of the boot vs the side) but I see there is a small deflector to keep things from getting snagged on/in it.

I see what your saying, the deflector is there to stop it like you said, but for quad riding I really don't think it would matter, but on a bike... I certainly know what you mean.
Anyone know how waterproof these will be?
They sure are warm, after a quick 22 mile ride my feet were toasty.

Funny thing about MX (or enduro for the matter) boots is they don't seem to be designed to be waterproof. First time I used my Astars my feet got soaked.
Of course it doesn't help when your hitting puddles hard enough to blow your feet off the pegs OMFG

They seem to have gotten more water resistant with use? I have never put anything on them to aid water resistance so double....??

I have found lightweight WOOL socks work best in hot to cool temperatures. You don't need to spend big bucks on MX socks, just get a few good pair of Colombias or something similar. The wool socks I wear are actually heavier than the cotton work socks I wear daily but they keep my feet cooler and drier.

This is what I was afraid of.....
Regardless I am wearing them.
For the simple quick on and off alone they are worth it.
And my feet / ankles feel much more supported now.
Wayne, I will take your advice on the socks, I will break out my wool winter socks for the next ride.

You may not want winter weight this time of year. The ones I use are tagged for "trekking) in outdoor shops. I'm sure Gander Bay has something that will work.

Seriously though, my ATV style boots don't take on as much water as they could, with the dunking's they've received I'm surprised Kathy has the motocross style and has had great luck as she says she hasn't had water in them yet.

We've both been in rather deep and rather often so I think we've tested them adequately. Remember if you will that the same ride that you bent your tie rod I soaked her with a tidal wave. :-)

you could always go shoping on the same site for socks and see if they have mx socks or something similar in the bargin bin. you wouldn't need to spend a lot that way.  :D
