Anyone with a legal bike up for this?

I missed it last year but not this time!

Freakin' GS's and KTM Adventure 950's in last years run!

I'd love to do this...

...if I had a bike for it that is. :-(

I was invited to do a pre-run/critique of one of the sections this Sunday. I've already been sent the GPS tracks... this is cool!

I'll post the file in the GPS forum now to give you an idea of the ride and photos here after the ride.

PS View the GPS tracks in Google earth!

Yeah I hear you, I don't know where that came from other than lots of Enduro riders slap a plate on and call it good.
If the bike (2 or 4 stroke) has legitimate credentials and State Inspection I think they should be allowed. Look at all the street legal "enduro" bikes that were two strokes back in the seventies and eighties.
The only limiting factor would be the 75 mile between gas availables that some two strokes could not make.

I've got one of those.  I have a perfectly rideable '77 Yamaha DT-175.  I'd prefer to have ridden my KDX, but that has only a headlight and taillight.

OK here are some shots of Sundays ride. Had a great time 130 miles or so.

Bikes included: 4-5 DRZs, a KTM 950 Super Enduro, A KTM 940 Adventure, 3-4 other KTMs (450SEs and 640s), One plated Yamaha, two BMW 650 X Challenges and an other BMW 650 of some type (didin't pay too much attention to the other beemer but the X Challenge is real nice.)

These first few pics are at the start.

There were 16 Bikes/Riders in total but we split up into groups and the faster riders got to the lunch stop first. The route was preloaded into everones GPS so we all rode basicly the same route (except for the larger bikes that detoured around the single track and more difficult sections)

Here is the first group of riders at the lunch stop. We parked next to the Harleys for effect. :D

None of the KTM riders had shown up yet for some reason Thats funny Right?

A little impromptu hill climb and one of the BMW X Challenges gets to the top as the other BMW lands on it's side. Nice way to treat a $12,000 bike! OMFG

Also one of the fuel stops.
