Congratulations!  Kids grow so fast that the Chinese quad was probably a good choice. Good luck with it!

For the price, you can't beat them. We have had that red Dinli my other daughters on since new in 02. Other than putting in a new battery, that thing has been flawless. That thing probably has over 3000 miles on it. Hopefully the new one will last as long.
