I'm in the process of changing my chain and sprockets and I would rather use a riveted master link, but I don't have a tool for this. If any one here does and could loan it to me, I'll pay for the loaner and throw in a case of your favorite beer!

Nope, it both breaks the rivets and flattens the new rivets of a chain. Pretty intense tool.

never mind...I just googled it....need a special type that bends over the edges.....what part of town you live....i know of a shop down near Rumetco's that should be able to put on for you.....let me know and i will give you info.......

Universal Sales and Acces.....see Mario.super nice guy and seems willing to always help...tell him Joe with the sportsman and wolverine sent ya....

Not that it will help you but I've got one for 420 chain from when I had my Margay kart. They do work slick as chit.

I couldn't find one I could borrow and I didn't want to shell out $100+ for a tool right now, so I went with clip style master links. They're more than strong enough for the riding I do so I'm good. Put the new chain and sprockets on the other day.

It's on the list of tools to buy for sure.
