Saturday I was riding with a member and former officer of the OCATV club on the poker run. We had a check point across from the parking area at Salmon River Falls. While we were there he mentioned never to park in the Falls lot. The DEC will nail you with a ticket. He said if you ride over to look at the falls, park in the field across the street from the parking area. The landowner is cool with it as long as you're not tearing up the field. The Falls lot is State land and as with any State land, if there isn't a sign saying it's open to ATV's, then it's not.
Kinda gay, ain't it?

Kind of how I feel about my Winona ticket. Used to be state land was public land. Seems like the Adirondack Park keeps getting closer and closer.

On a brighter note. Will Barcley made an appearance at the poker run and let it be known he is on our side and is fighting for us (and our votes, me thinks he's wanting Governor status someday. Which would be cool if he continues to help as he is currently). Guess their working on putting a new ATV trail in from Pulaski to Port Ontario through Barcleys land.
