A message from Senator Jim Wright:

Great news for parents and families!  I am happy to report that beginning this
Saturday, April 1, 2006, all purchases of clothing and shoes (priced up to $110)
will now be permanently exempt from STATE SALES TAX.

No more waiting for a special tax-free weekend before doing your shopping.  Now,
every week is state sales tax-free week.

Ending the state sales tax on clothing is just one of the numerous victories for
the hardworking, overburdened taxpayers included in the budget plan just agreed
to by the Senate and Assembly.  The budget agreement also includes direct tax
rebate checks for property taxpayers, a new state child tax credit, expanded tax
relief for seniors and new smart investments in our schools and small
businesses.

Please feel free to e-mail me or contact my office for any further information.

Sincerely,

Jim Wright
State Senator

What they need to make is  $1000.00 per every good idea they have that gets  approved by the public. That should be a good incentive program. Beer Me
