Anyone recommend a good repair shop preferable in the central NY area?  I would love to find a place the knows what they are doing with a 4 cylinder 80's bike, not just pretend that they do.  My Seca needs the carb. balanced and adjusted I at can't do it.  I have them cleaned, floats adjusted but I can't get the boots on that go between the carbs and air boots.  I have done it before but after spending a few hours working on them all I have is one on and a few scratches in my new paint.  What I want is a place then will put the carbs on and set the up correctly.  I hear a lot of stories about shops not doing it right so I only want to go to a place that someone recommends.  I had the bike at O'Briens in Auburn a few years back and they do ok work but they didn't set the carbs up right, 2 were lean and the other 2 were very rich.  Anybody got a suggestion?  I have had enough with this thing....

I would also suggest Micro_bore.....John is a good dude (pretty sure he still runs it)...he has done a bunch of work for me over the years (back in my jap-bike days).....

John and his Wife still own and operate it, I was just there last month picking up some oil.

not sure where you are located, but if you are south of the 'Cuse,
Ithaca Recreation, K&H Kawasaki, and Gold Sport Cycles are great places.
I typically use Gold Sport Suzuki because they have worked on damn near
every bike I have had and I have never had anything bad to say about Jerry and
the way he does business. Incredible service.

But I have heard good things about Microbore, however I have no personal experience with them.

Thanks guys, somehow I missed the replies.  I have been in to microbore looking around a few times but haven't had them work on anything.  I think I will give them a call to see if they want it brought in in a few weeks or in the spring.

I am in Chittenango so they are only 1/2 hour way so that is nice too.

i have heard some very good things about the triumph dealer out near the carousel mall.
from what i understand, they will work on anything.i am going to give them a shot in the spring
to replace the steering bearings and the wheel bearings, so we'll see..
